Raised in the violent, impoverished slums of Rio de Janeiro, Walter and Wagner began playing classical music on violins handmade by their father. Music became their escape, their education, and eventually their bridge to the world.
After being featured on NPR, they were invited to the United States on full-ride music scholarships in 2008. Since then, they have performed more than 1,000 shows worldwide with one mission: to make the world smile.
